The Pradarolo Farm sits in the small village of Varano dè Melegari, in the Parma province of Emilia-Romagna. The Carretti family purchased the land in 1971, and in 1989, Alberto and Claudia Carretti decided to convert the farm to a full on vineyard. They deal in natural winemaking, organic farming and long macerations for both red and white varietals. Vines sit near a tributary of the river Po, and the climate is influenced largely by the nearby Mediterranean Sea.
The ex Alba is 100% Trebbiano left on its skins for 45 days. It is bottled unfiltered and unfined with little sulfur additions. Wild and raw with floral and chamomile tea aromas. Green apple and white flowers on the palate. Bright, crisp and refreshing.
