Podere Casaccia is a farm in the hills of Scandicci in Tuscany, only a few kilometers from Florence. Grapes sit amongst olive trees and are farmed biodynamically by two guys that are both named Roberto. This should be enough but I'll go on. The Robertos replanted the vineyard to old school, indigenous varieties. Wines are produced in very small quantities, are lively and should be enjoyed to the fullest.
The Toscana Rosso Canaiolo is from 40-50 yr old vines on clay loam sandy soils. Floral, vegetal, loved by guys named Roberto. Pour with a pizza and watch your universe unfold into greatness.
