Methode Sauvage was started in 2013 by the homie, Chad Hines with the idea in mind to showcase Cali Chenin Blanc and Cab Franc. Chad began planting and working his own vines in 2018 in the style of Masanobu Fukuoka- a cool natty Japanese dude who believes in hands off, no till, full on organic farming. Chad has a hankering for Alpine wine styles and varietals.
The Shasta Cascade Red is equal parts Trousseau, Mondeuse and Blaufränkisch. A little orange peel, a lot of red fruit, a little black pepper and some iron rich Blaufränkisch palate love. Alpine Vibes.
