Looking to impress your friends while not spending your entire stimulus check? Let us introduce you to the Languedoc. Often overlooked for big brother Burgundy or Côte du Rhône, the more southerly region of Languedoc pumps out some super delicious, deep, earthy, garriguey wines at a value we the people need. Surrounded by the Mediterranean and the Cévennes mountain range in the middle of the Languedoc AOC lies Domaine La Grangette. Husband and wife team Michel and Christelle Moret are the only domaine in the region making red, white and rosé wines from the Picpoul variety. Sustainable as all get down.
The Grangette Cocoriko is light, bright, earthy and balanced by some crunchy tannin. All stainless, loves a chill, does well with park meats.
