Having apprenticed with the likes of Egon Müller and Klaus Peter Keller, the wines of Julian Haart received some well deserved hype right off the bat. Julian is a perfectionist, probably too hard on himself and a delightfully humble dude despite the caliber of his wines. He's procured a few grand cru sites, including one of the smallest single vineyards in the Mosel. His wines express the slatey minerals of the Mosel with a defined purity of fruit.
The Moselle displays a perfect balance of residual sugar and acidity. Flavors and aromas of white peach, dried flowers and grapefruit. Linear minerality cuts through a rich, flavorful palate. Supa dupa fly.
