Andrea Cervini has been working the vineyards since age 13, when his family would sell grapes to local co ops. in 2006 Andrea planted his own vineyard with the intent to make natural wines from Barbera, Barnarda and the local strain of Malvasia. Emilia-Romagna is all about the food, and Andrea's wines are bright and fresh and pair perfectly with the local cuisine.
The Navel is 50/50 Barbera/Barnarda. Medium body with red fruit, tobacco, leather, minerals and a structural backbone. Meat pasta and roll with it.
