Envínate is the project of four friends who met in oenology school, decided to make wine together and just absolutely nailed it. The crew at Envínate makes wine in Ribeira Sacra, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremedura and most famously, the Canary Islands. The wines, of course, are markedly unique in their own right. They are made in the same vein, however- organic, driven by terruño and full of primary fruit and a finesse that will only deepen your love affair with Spanish wine.
Honestly this is one of the best wines out of Ribeira Sacra and I don't even want to tell you about it because I want to drink it all. But...The Viña Aldea is 90-95% mencía grown on the steep slate slopes of the Amandi subzone in Ribeira Sacra, Galicia. Red fruit, minerals, graphite, pink peppercorn and everything good about Galicia wrapped up in a wine glass.
