Azienda Agricola Corvagialla takes up just 4 hectares of land in the small village of Lubriano, about 90 kilometers northwest of Rome. Olive trees, fruit trees, veggie gardens and vines make up the farm, while the obligatory melange of furry and feathery beasts roam the vineyards. Local varieties, organic farming and low production FTW. No added sulfites for you natty kids.
Chee-lee-ay-G-oh-lo. Ciliegiolo, used mostly in the past for blends, is making a resurgence as a grape that can stand on it's own. This iteration is light and fruity, with dried cherries and dried floral notes. Quaffable and naturally totally delicious. Drink with salumi or bust.
