Birichino in the project of Alex Krause and John Locke started in 2008. Both Alex and John have had their hands in winemaking in California, Italy, France and a number of other dope winemaking regions. They source Cali grapes from small plots with marine influence, use minimal intervention and aim to make unique, delicious wines. Plus they have a tasting room in Santa Cruz so you can catch a buzz before the Boardwalk. Sick.
