Olivier Collin is the son of Ulysse Collin, and is the current charge of the family's vineyard in the small rural village of Congy, just south of the Côtes du Blanc. The family had been farming and selling wine from their 8.5 hectares of vine since 1812, and finally in 2003 Olivier decided to bottle the wine on his own. He's been farming the vineyards organically since then, and believes in less manipulation in the cellar. He's a champion for his region of Coteaux du Petit Morin, believing it is often overlooked and largely misunderstood.
100% Pinot Noir planted in 1971 to chalky limestone subsoils. No fining or filtering, aged three years. Savory, bright, earthy, fruity, dense and totally fabulous.
